Dr Alison Wood is an academic, writer, and education innovator whose work over 20 years has been driven by the question 'what are universities really for?'. Currently Fellow of Homerton College, University of Cambridge, she directs the pioneering 'Homerton Changemakers', a co-curricular programme accelerating students' capacity for purposeful, wise changemaking in the context of global challenges defining our moment: climate emergency, geo-political instability, and what might be termed a crisis of selfhood.
