Talk summary

The past decade has seen immense progress in all fields of life. Due to exponentially accelerating technologies and not in the least the very recent pandemic, our present is palpably different every single day while our future is even more obscure and difficult to envision than before. Yet, the sector of education looks and feels exactly the same as it did 100 years ago.

Through the practice of School of Humanity this talk offers a glimpse at how else education can be imagined. It introduces the key ideas, guiding principles and methodologies through both the learner’s journey and the facilitator’s practice at the institution in order to show that education can be successfully set up to serve human flourishing while still staying future-ready and relevant.
