Born and raised in Zambia, Katuta came to England to study Mechanical Engineering on a mining industry scholarship. After graduating with a B.Eng (Hons), he worked for several Small to Medium-sized organisations, gaining experience in Engineering, Purchasing and Information Technology.

At Airbus, Katuta is a member of an employee resource group (ERG) called Airbus Africa Community (AAC) and is currently leading a voluntary initiative to establish a mentorship program at a school in Kalulushi, his hometown.

Katuta is passionate about lifelong learning, Education and ‘giving back’. In his spare time, he loves to play tennis, travel, and read.
