Maria has been a teacher and teacher trainer for over thirty years. She has worked with children, teenagers, and adults at different educational levels and institutions. She is currently a full-time professor at the University of Colima in Mexico. Her education includes a B.Phil.Ed in ELT, an M.Ed. in TTELT both from the University of Exeter. She has finished her PhD in Modern Languages from the University of Southampton.
