Our understanding of what it means to learn with technology has not evolved much. Even with the rapid shift to online learning, technology is still used as a tool: a camera, a television, a computer, a workbook, a test machine. However, in the last decade technology has become critical to infrastructure; improving connections, revolutionizing the workplace, and expanding where learning is possible. In an age of extended realities and hyperrealism, it is time to reconsider our understanding of technology for learning to ensure our students are well positioned for future success.
